Sports Photography has been a life-long passion of mine.  Working with athletes of all ages, is a truly special experience.  I love being on the water shooting sailing or rowing, but I am equally comfortable at the pool, athletic field, or hockey rink.

Growing up, my parents made sure to have me play pretty much any sport you could think of.  Sailing, Rowing, Swimming, Ice Hockey, Soccer, Golf, Basketball and Baseball to name a few. 

One of the key things to look for in a sports photographer is someone who is capable of finding the "decisive moment" in the action.  While it's great to capture the celebration after a moment, actually capturing that moment is where the magic truly lies.  Sometimes you can get lucky, but in my experience, being able to anticipate those moments by truly knowing the sports you cover is more helpful.

In addition to capturing sports on the field of play, I am very familiar with shooting team media days to capture individual player portraits as well as team photos.  These days are truly special when we can leverage our combined creative minds to capture truly stunning and unique images.
